Victim under police accusation for criticizing her arbitrary arrest

On September 1, 2018, Barsaga Mosqueda was at the currency store. When she was at the counter along with five other women, the police entered and arrested almost forty people. All the detainees were transferred to the police unit known as El Palacete. According to the police, the detainees had broken the windows of the store. Most of the detainees were fined 150 CUC (5 EUR), but the victim, along with the other people inside the store, were accused of damage to social property. The victim alleges that the accusation is due to criticizing the police for the unjust and arbitrary arrest.
