Magda Onelvis Mendoza Díaz is a Maths teacher and a member of Women in White. On August 25, 2013 she and other 34 Women in White demonstrated for freedom of the political prisoners and human rights in Cuba. Several agents from the State Security appeared and forced them to enter the bus. The agents did beat them inside the bus and finally left at the outskirts of Santiago de Cuba el Cristo. After returning to Santiago de Cuba on foot, the policemen did beat them again including a 7-year old Fatima Ferrer Cantillo, a daughter of the president of Women in White.
