An activist Giorvis Chivas Castillo was going to attend Mass which is being conducted in whole Cuba in order to demand the release of political prisoners and social and political changes. At 6:40, he was detained in the bus by Major Cantillo, the State Security Chief in Caimanera, and taken to the police station. Before being released, he was threatened to be imprisoned due to his desire to overthrow Raúl and Fidel Castro.
