Yuramis Rodríguez Matos along with other activists was carrying out a protest against the confiscation of the toys, which Ladies in White had prepared for the children for the Three Kings´ Day on January 6. The participants had banners saying "Give us back the stolen toys" and sevreal banners with anti-government slogans. Yuramis was detained by National Revolutionary Police and State Security officials and driven to the detention center. She was released 7 hours later.
