Joheyma Dianey detained and threatened



On October 11, 2015, Joheyma Dianey was participating in a Sunday activity organized by Ladies in White in the Church of Santa Rita supporting the # Todos Marchamos campaign. She was detained by the security officers and several policemen. Then, she was searched and taken to the police station Boyeros, where she spent six hours expecting to be released. She was warned that if she went to Havana and participate in this campaign again, she would be prosecuted for disobedience. Joheyma Dianey Gonzalez Torres is a human rights activist since 2012, she is a member of the Federación Latinoamericana de Mujeres Rurales (FLAMUR) and also belongs to the Partido por la Unión Democratica Cristiana de Cuba (PUDCC).
