Patricia González Pérez fired from her job for participating in the Seminar for Democracy in Cuba

Patricia González Pérez participated in the Seminar for Democracy in Cuba held in Miami and sponsored by the Legal Rescue Foundation, through the Institute of Cuban and Cuban-American Studies (ICCAS) headquartered at the University of Miami. Patricia justified her absence from work, however, the State Security told her that, according to what they saw on social media, she was at an event in Miami. Later, they called her house and told her family that when she returned they would have to give an explanation of where she was. As a result, they informed Patricia that she was being fired from her job based on the disciplinary action on her participation in international counterrevolutionary events that would threaten the security of socialism in Cuba.
