Women threatened at the police station when asking for the information about her brother

On 1 August 2019, María Luisa Chacón Lamoth went to the police station located in Reparto Obrero in order to get some information about her brother, Alexander Chacón Lamoth, who had been detained on 31 July without providing any information to his family. After having waited for more than 4 hours at the police unit, María Luisa was received by official Vichi who told her that her brother was imprisoned and the situation seemed to be very bad for him. Then he added that she should not try to disrupt the order otherwise she would be imprisoned as well. "Remember that you are being kept under surveillance and your case is open. Do not complicate your life." That's what the official told her, threatening her that as a Lady in White, her activities are constantly monitored by the police and the State Security.
