Peaceful demonstrator of 11J is arrested and sentenced to 3 years and 6 months imprisonment for the crimes of Public Disorder, Attempt and Disrespect.



On July 11, 2021, Herrada stepped out into the streets to join the rest of the people of Caibarién. He joined the shouts of slogans such as Libertad, Patria y Vida (Freedom, Homeland and Life). On July 17 he was taken from his house and taken away for several days. The prosecutor's request was for 4 years of imprisonment for the crimes of Public Disorder, two of Attempt and one of Disrespect. He was finally sentenced to 3 years and 6 months, a decision that was unsuccessfully appealed by Herrada.
