December 10, as well as in other countries, is celebrated as the Human Rights Day. On that day, an activist Bartolo Cantillo Romeo was about to go to the Union Patriotic League Headquerters in Guantanamo (UNPACU). When he opened the door, he found out, that his house had been surrounded by police officers and several men wearing civil clothes and having sticks in their hands. He was told that if he left the house, he would be detained. Bartolo told them they were abusing his rights and closed the door. Thanks to his neighbors, Bartolo was able to left the house using another exit, so he finally could attend the event.
