Angel Millan Ramirez was with other activists on the streets of Puerto Padre, performing a demonstration, which was demanding the release of Ramon Carrion, who was unjustly imprisoned for his thinking.
The agent Miguelito of the political police together with other national police officers walked in the group. Angel was beaten and taken to the PNR where he remained for 12 hours. He faced psychological torture and received death threats.
