Lady in White detained by the State Security for more than 24 hours



At 5 am, Celina Osoria Claro, who is a human rights activist and a Lady in White, was on her way to the Santa Catalina de Ricci Church in order to participate in the Mass which is carried out there every Sunday. When she was walking down the Los Maceos Street and 3 Sur, she was stopped by the State Security (DSE) officials known as Víctor Víctor and Garvier. They detained her and put her in the patrol car no. 602. She was then driven to the police unit called Parque 24. She was kept there until the next day when she was released at 11 am without any further consequences. On the top of that, Celina has been threatened by the State Security on multiple occasions due to her engagement as an activist.
