My house was surrounded by four National Revolutionary Police officials for five days before Pope Francis´ visit. On September 22, 2015, I was going with other human rights defensors to attend Mass in the Santurio del Cobre. I was detained by the State Security official Yuniel Done. I was transported to the the school transport pick-up point, where already had been other detainees. We were taken to the National Revolutionary Police where we were beaten again and verbally insulted. We were released after 7 hours when Pope Francis left.
