Bartolo Cantillo detained on his way to the church

Bartolo tried to go to the church Santa Catalina de Ricci, with the aim of participating in the mass, carrying a sign in which he asked for the freedom of all political prisoners. When he was walking down Los Maceos Street, State Security Officers (DSE) known as Kevin or Edwin Jefferson and Luis Angel or Roberto stopped him. He was taken to the DSE detention center known as Operations, where he was told that he would be searched at his home and then taken to prison, that he had little left in the street. He was released around 12 noon the next day, after receiving a warning letter for conducting cross-revolutionary activities.
