After having been released, Yaremis was about to leave her province. She went to the bus terminanl and got on a bus heading to Santiago de Cuba province. When they were passing through a military checkpoint in Río Frío, police stopped the bus and Yaremis had to get off. After being kept at the checkpoint for several hours, she was taken to the police unit known as Parque 24. She was received by State Security officials known as Sergio and Kevin or Jefferson. They interrogated her and gave her an official warning for disobedience. The officials said that as her case was being prosecuted, she was not allowed to leave the province and she would be searched. She was released at about 8:45 pm on the same day.
