For meeting activists, detainee was threatened to be prosecuted for a new cause



On the morning of November 26, 2019, Mr. Rafael Puente Creme, a prisoner at Guantanamo, was called to the office of Major Modesto, who is in charge of the State Security Deparment (DSE) at the prison. He told the detainee that he was violating the rules and getting into trouble, since the detainee did not understand what was the officer referring to, the Mayor told him that when he went to his house he met Bartolo Cantillo, Henry Couto, Yanira Jouberth and other people that they have controlled "for trying to destabilize and commit crimes such as espionage, and broadcasting news to affect international peace". The Mayor went on referring to these people cautiously, and tolf hime that he shouldn't see them if he wouldn't like to complicate himself, and that theycould open up another case against him in addition to the posters that appeared near his house. The detainee replied that the individuals were his friends and companions of ideas who fight for a just country, the Mayor responded by telling him that he would see what would happen if he went out again.
