On the 11th of November, 2013, in the morning, several officers of the National Revolutionary Police accompanied by officers of Political Police Alfredo Oliveros, Fernando Fernández, along with the chief of counterintelligence Lierner Leiva. They showed up at the home of activist Enrique Cuba, with a detention order against him because he allegedly was implied in one robbery. However, according to his family, the real reason of his detention was political since he is a leader in the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU).
