Odalys Castillo Cosme is the National Coordinator of Human Rights of the Union for Free Cuba Party (PUNCLI), she is also the manager of the "Emilia Project". Odalys lives in the municipality of San Antonio de los Baños in the province of Artemisa. On August 26, two unidentified officers of the political police came to her home to threaten her because of a publication she made on social networks and told her that if she maintained that stance against the government they would take her to prison for usurpation of functions. They also told her that they had summoned her several times and that she had not shown up, so it constituted a crime of disobedience for which she could also go to prison. They ended up threatening her by saying that "they had already spoken to her repeatedly, that she was no longer a child, that they would no longer speak to her and would take her to prison for the Facebook posts."
