Torture, cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment against Eider



Eider, who is being held in the Kilo 8 prison in Camagüey province, was transferred to a punishment cell in the Cerámica prison in the same province on July 17. Eider was taken to Cerámica according to the prison management because he was planning actions and a general hunger strike in support of the detainees of the protests for July 26. He was held for about 10 days in a punishment cell where he was placed in subhuman conditions and without the diet prescribed by the doctor. After these days in a punishment cell, he was taken to the Kilo 8 prison where his sentence expired and where he was also placed in a punishment cell.
