UNPACU activist threatened in his job for giving his opinion on the Venezuelan situation

In the evening, the activist of the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU), Doile Baloi Laens Delgado, was victim of threats made by Elena Moreno, Head of the House of Culture, where he worked, because he had made a comment regarding the situation of the people of Venezuela. The activist publicly expressed that the situation that the people of that country were living was due to corruption, as a consequence he was threatened by Ms. Moreno with having him removed from his job or having him sanctioned because he had allegedly dared to speak ill of "a brother country to which Cuba owed a lot". The activist told Ms. Moreno that he had never spoken badly of the people of Venezuela and that she was distorting what he had said and that, if they were going to punish him for telling the truth, they could do so because he considered himself a free man and acted like one. The activist was also offended by Eduardo Molina, the custodian who was there, who told him that he was a worm and a counter-revolutionary because he was speaking ill of a brother country, that he did not have to be working there and that he had to be pulled out, that the place where he should be was in the street. In response, the activist defended his right to freedom of expression.
