State security guarded human rights activist's house to prevent him from leaving home

Yoel Acosta Games, a human rights activist and reporter for ADN Cuba, received a visit on July 9 from Sector Chief Rafael Nicle Bastelemi and the State Security officer known as Captain Jaciel. They warned him that he could not leave his house until July 11, otherwise he would be taken to prison for committing a crime of disobedience. The officers left several State Security agents outside Acosta's home to ensure that the activist could not leave.
