Police surveillance to prevent family from participating in Family Code referendum

On Sunday, September 11, when Zuleydis was at home with her family, three State Security agents came to her house. The reason for the visit was to warn her that on September 25, the day of the referendum on the Family Code, neither she nor her husband could leave their house. They also told her that from September 24 to 26 they would be under permanent surveillance and that if they tried to leave, they would be arrested and prosecuted for incitement to commit a crime.
