Registration, confiscation, and detention for days without a reason

Agents of the State Security and the National Revolutionary Police appeared forcibly and unexpectedly at the home of Agustín Valentín López Canino. Without presenting an arrest or search warrant, they confiscated all of his materials that he used for independent journalism. They then led him away as a detainee, claiming that he was hiding a motorcylcle for illegal reasons. They took him to the Revolutionary National Police Station, where Lieutenant Colonel Kenya, who was in charge of the operation, never made the proper documentation. Three days later, he was released by making bail, and now is awaiting trial.
