Iván Fernández, member of the National Front of Civic Resistance and Civil Desobedience "Orlando Zapata Tamayo" performed beside other activists a protest in the bridge popularly known as El Elevado de Placetas, situated on the outsides of the city, demanding the Government to deliver a dwelling for the striker Luís Enrique Santos Caballero and his wife Ramona Madai García Ruiz.
The activists started a march in the aforementioned place proclaiming slogans as "Dwelling for Luís Enrique y Madai. Don´t let him die"; "Fidel down. Raúl down".
Shortly after they were addressed and detained by members of the police, introduced in the police cars and trasferred to the local police station where remained one hour detained before being transported to the national highway, where they were released.
