Activist sentenced for posting anti-government slogans

Santiago Roberto Montes de Oca Rodríguez exhibited in public places banners where was written: "Raúl, respect human rights and freedom of expression, you are the Antichrist!" and "Raúl, where are all the political prisoners you tortured and murdered such as Laura Pollán ans Oswaldo Payá?" Montes de Oca has carried out many protests taking place in the Central Park and Plaza Vieja in Havana, where hundreds of tourists walk around every day. In January 2014, Santiago Roberto Montes de Oca was detained and in October in the same was prosecuted. He was setenced to two years in prison. He is serving a setence in La Lima in Havana.
