An activist named Alexander Chacon Lamoth, along with fellow activists, was protesting for the release of political prisoners in San Lino Street, and demanding authorities to respect human rights when Alexander and the other activists were beaten by riot troops and State Security officers. He was then taken to the police station and released several hours later. He was threatened by an official named Kevin who ordered him to be sent to prison.
