The UNPACU activist was on a bus on his way to Santiago de Cuba to meet with the executive secretary of the UNPACU José Daniel Ferrer, when the agent Wilder Martínez ordered the bus to stop. The activist was handcuffed in front of everyone present. He was taken to the PNR, where the officials claimed that they would not allow him to leave the province and go to visit the opposition leader.
