A man detained and beaten for having tried to go to Mass in Guantanamo (a case of Marco Antonio Moran Pelegrin)



On October 11 Marco Antonio Moran Pelegrin was heading towards the headquarters of the UNPACU. He was arrested by riot police brigade officers and State Security. Later he was taken to the police unit of Jamaica. There he was beaten and left handcuffed for more than two hours. He was threatened that he could not get more out of Guantanamo. This arrest is because Pelegrin Moran wanted to participate in the Mass that took place in the Catholic Church in Santiago de Cuba.
