Bartolo was traveling to the province of Santiago de Cuba in a private car of public service in order to go to the headquarters of the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU), an organization to which he belongs.
When he passed through the police checkpoint, the police took him out of the transport and took him to the Police Unit Parque 24, where he was not received, so he was taken to the State Security Detention Center (DSE) known as Operations, he was there for three hours and then was transferred to the police unit of the municipality of El Salvador.
In that unit he was interrogated by the DSE Captain known as Kevin or Jefferson, the officer told him that if he does not leave the opposition they would take him back to prison and that this time he would not be as calm as the previous time, because this time they would seek some inmates to give him blows and complicate his life with other causes.
He was released the next day around three o'clock in the afternoon, after receiving a warning notification for disobedience.
