Activist of Coalición Central Opositora Alexis Osmany Palmero González was arrested during the protest outside the head office of this organization on 23rd August 2013. Activists were demanding the release of dissident Ivan Fernandez Depestre walking around and shouted: „Freedom for Ivan Fernandez Depestre. Down with Fidel. Down with Raul. Down with dictatorship".
After that they were approached by the police who put them into the police car and brought them outside the city where they freed them.
