On 7 April 2015 several peace activists including Telvis Brook went to church in order to have a conversation with Bishop Wilfredo Pino due to the violence by the police and state security against the human rights activists in Guantanamo. When the activists were debating with the bishop, the security officials appeared outside the church during the meeting. It began a police operation monitored by State Security. The fast action groups said they were punish Telvis Brook and the others. After more than four hours the bishop had a conversation with the head of State Security who decided for nonviolence acting. They removed the operating, cars had to move the activists to the UNPACU headquarters in the province.
