Daniela Córdova Río was detained by police chief when she was expressing her opinion on the new Constituion of the Republic. She was complaining about several articles which harm more the society and do not bring any benefit. Córdova Río was detained by force which caused her injury on her arms. Being taken away, she was still expressing her right to protest and dissatisfaction with the articles in the Constitution. She also said that there was no democracy in Cuba which would let the people to speak up. She was then taken to the police station known as Parque 24, where she was detained for more then 24 hours. There she was warned and threatened with possible prosecution for public disorder. She was released with a fine and official written warning.
