Onelia Gainza Guzman traveled from Maisi where she lives to Guantanamo with the intention to participate in the Mass in the church of Santa Catalina de Risi which was attending by the Damas de Blanco. When she was passing the checkpoint roundabout police stopped the truck in which she was traveling. She was detained there until the Mass was over.
