Yoel Acosta Games, human rights activist and reporter for Palenque Visión and ADN Cuba, was summoned to the Police Sector of Cabaú, in Baracoa, in the morning hours. There, the head of the sector was waiting for him along with a social worker, a State Security officer and several policemen. An officer told him that he would be presented before a Preventive Commission, which would monitor him for 6 months and that, if he did not change his behavior, he would be sent to prison. The Sector Chief concluded the conversation by threatening Acosta that he would be deprived of his freedom if he did not make a change, since his work affected the Revolution and they were not going to allow it any longer. He was released 2 hours after his detention.
