Yipisian Reyes Sánchez, member of the movement Ladies in White, was driving to the Jose Marti international airport in Havana when the vehicle was intercepted by National Police and State Security officers.
Reyes Sánchez was detained and driven in a patrol car near the town of Managua, where the officers abandoned Yipsian.
