Sarahí, member of Ladies in White, was detained when she was leaving her house by the agents of State Security and the National Revolutionary Police, in order to prevent her from participating in an activity of Ladies in White Movement. She remained under arrest for more than 15 hours without being allowed to use the bathroom, or eat food, or drink water.
