Lady in White kept on the street to prvent her from going to the church

A Lady in White, Aleida Cofiño Rivera, left her house and was heading to the church. When she was going down the Calle 8 Street in Jovellanos, a political police officer known as Ramón Pérez stopped her and told her that she could not go further, because she was detained. Aleida told him to call a patrol car, but it never arrived. From 9:45 am till 10:50 am, Ramón Pérez along with one of his colleagues called Peraza kept her on the corner of on the Calle 8 Street.
