Ana Iris was detained together with her siblings -Ada Iris, Fidel Manuel-, her mother -Maydolis- and two nephews -Alain Michel and Tahimi- on the 26th (the day of Fidel Castro's death) when they were walking through the streets of the place where they live. When they were finally released and returned to their home, they were met with an act of repudiation, in which approximately 400 people participated and were pelted with stones, one of which hit a little girl. The riot squad violently took the victims' house, the family suffered the theft of a laptop, a camera, a memory stick, personal belongings, food and even medicine. In addition to this, they were beaten, their clothes were left with pig feces and the fences and doors of the house were smashed.
