Police and State Security officials arrested a journalist Alberto Corzo Corzo in the municipality of Los Arabos in Matanza Province and drove him to the police station. Here he was interrogated by State Security official Ramón de Alma. According to the information given, the reason for the detention was Alberto´s participation in distributing Cocodrilo Callejero bulletin on August 23 in Colón Boulevard. The official labelled him mercenary and accused him of receiving money intended for subversion in Cuba and maintaining ties with human rights organization in and outside of Cuba. Moreover, he was threatened to be prosecuted and to be put in jail for distributing illegal leaflets.
