He was arrested on March 1 by agents of the Department of State Security and the National Revolutionary Police took while taking pictures of a collapse that had taken place on the corner of the streets San Rafael and Oquendo, Centro Habana, Havana. He was taken to the Zanja police unit, where he was detained for several hours.
