Raúl Castillo Caraballo was about to participate in Sunday Mass at the Catholic Church in El Cobre to demand the release of political prisoners in Cuba and make social and political changes. At 6 a.m. at the bus stop in Manuel Tames, Raul was detained by the officer Kata, taken to the police station and released several hours later. He was threatened with imprisonment for an alleged plot to overthrow Raúl Castro.
