On April 1, 2015 at 4:30 pm some officers designated by several people as members of CDR came at home of the victim. Ángel Lobaina Frometa was taken to the police station arrested due to several posters. In the station they tried to force him a test of calligraphy to accuse him for acting against the revolution. Ángel Frometa Lobaina refused it. They detained him overnight without blankets or mattress in a cell of the station.
