Detained for criticizing the electoral system

Yordan was arrested by the Chief of Sector and officials of the Ministry of the Interior when he spoke about the invalidity of the election that was approaching. He said that the people had to vote for candidates they did not know and that the entire thing was a facade of the government to say that here in Cuba the votes are free. He complained that the police do not solve problems on the Island and that they were elected solely because of their names, that it was a vote rigged by the State. He was repressed by officers of the Ministry of the Interior and led to the Police Unit where he was detained for more than 72 hours. He was released with the warning that if he makes another offense he will be prosecuted for disobedience.
