In the afternoon, on 7 September 2020, Henry Couto Guzmán was riding his bike on the Los Maceos Street. Suddenly, he was knocked down by a State Security official Kevin and several officials put him inside a patrol car. After that, he was driven on the 12th km of the national highway. There was already waiting, along with other officials, Major Sergio, the head of the Counterrevolution Confrontation Unit in Guantánamo. There, Couto Guzmán was threatened and beaten up. The officials completely destroyed his bicycle and ripped up his clothes. “I told you I was about to kill you,” said Sergio meanwhile Couto Guzmán was handcuffed. “Tell José Daniel Ferrer that me, Sergio, will kill you and nobody will investigate it.” After several hours of threats, the officials got on the motorbikes and the car and left Couto Guzmán to his fate in the middle of the night.
