Authorities prevent activist from leaving the country

René Gómez Manzano, well known dissident, was at Havana's Jose Martí international airport this earlier morning on July 24th getting ready to embark on a flight to Montevideo, Uruguay. The authorities approached him and informed him that he was prohibited from leaving the country without being given any further explanation.
