Victim was severely beaten, detained and imprisoned for no reason.



Carlos Paul was on his way home on the day of the demonstrations when he was intercepted by the black berets. Carlos was severely beaten by them, to the point that his nasal septum and head were fractured and he was left unconscious. The victim was taken to the Miguel Enrique Hospital, where his wounds were sutured. From the hospital he was taken to the PNR police unit, where they confiscated the medical certificate he had received at the hospital and then he was taken to IVANOV prison, where he was beaten again.
