Teacher Detained for Spreading Information about Activism

Five young students of the teacher and activist Roberto Gonzales Feria knocked on the door of his house in order to learn about the activities of the UNPACU. Roberto invited them in and, together with his wife, he showed them several videos about the work and activism of the organization. At the end the students asked the teacher for some discs to take them and watch at home. Roberto handed them out. Later on, two officers of the national police under the command of the political police agent Dainier Pagan Suarez knocked on his door claiming that one of the parents of the students had accused Roberto for hindering the normal development of the child. The police handcuffed him and took him in a patrol to the PNR of San Luis to force him to sign a document, which would make him responsible for the crime. Unwilling to sign the document, he remained detained for several hours, receiving threats, including death threats.
