He was arrested by agents of the State Security and the National Police in the vicinity of the home of Hugo Damián Prieto Blanco in La Lisa municipality where a protest took place. He was taken to the police unit of The Lisa where he remained for more than 12 hours. He has been threatened on several occasions to be trialed on the alleged crimes of contempt and arrest resistance.
