An activist detained at the National Revolutionary Police for 13 hours

Licet is a human rights activist from UNPACU. On that day, she was heading to Santuario del Cobre to attend Mass. When she passing through Palmarito del Cauto, her car was detained. She was taken out from the car by force and put into the patrol car. After several hours of waiting, she was driven to the National Revolutionary Police in the city of Mella. She was interrogated by State Security officials who threatened her with imprisonment. The officials wanted her to inform them about all the travels she undertook. When she refused, she was kept under detention for more than 13 hours.
