Aleida Cofiño Rivera left her house and was on her way to the church to attend Mass. Suddenly, she was stopped by a political police officer who prevented her from continuing on her way to the church, because, as he explained, she was detained. Aleida was kept two blocks from her house from 9:45 am until 11:00 am. The officer just said: "We do not have any patrol car available to take you to the police station."
