El 15 de noviembre del 2021, en horas de la mañana, la policía junto con las fuerzas de la Seguridad del Estado y miembros de las Brigadas de Respuestas Rápidas, empujaron la puerta e ingresaron a la vivienda del señor Diosbay Zalazar Rodríguez. Estando allí se robaron varios artículos y equipos personales, que no han sido devueltos, y detuvieron a dicho activista para llevarlo a la Unidad Policial de San Antonio del Sur. Fue confinado por más de 24 horas en una celda, tiempo durante el cual no tuvo acceso a agua, comida, colchón para dormir, asistencia médica ni legal. Cuando le permitieron salir, el Oficial Lionis le indicó que estaba bajo arresto domiciliario, que sería procesado por desobediencia y, además, tras abofetearlo en la cara le amenazó con que iban a desaparecerlo.
